Indications for the price determination

Interpreting
The basic price for one hour is 40,- Euro and depends on the job specifications, the necessary preparations and the travel costs and time.

Translations
They are based on the number of standard lines of the source text (1 standard line = 55 characters including spaces) and depend on the nature of the text and the degree of technical difficulty:
• general text
• specialised text
• very difficult specialised text with an high effort on research
Upon request, quotes can also be based on a price per word or price per standard page (which means 1.500 characters including spaces) or we can agree on an individual overall price.
Furthermore there will be a 30% surcharge on urgent voluminous translations (i.e. more than 5-6 standard pages per day) with short notice and which have to be completed within a short period of time (within 24 h).
Significant formatting efforts and special delivery terms will also be taken into account as well as the publication of translated texts.

Text editing and proofreading
Depending on the job specifications text editing and proofreading are either charged on an hourly basis or on the number of standard lines or per word.

Language Courses
One language lesson takes 90 minutes. For an individual lesson I charge 30,- Euro. Groups of two, three or more people pay accordingly 15,-/10,-/8,- Euro per person.
